God is sovereign – nothing and no one is outside of His control
Ask Your Child:
What is God’s providence?
answer - He sustains and guides all people and events
Does evil get in the way of God’s plans?
answer - Never
How should Christians respond to the sovereignty of God?
answer - Rest and rejoice in it
Apply:
God controls everything, including who will be saved. But He promised that He will turn away none who seek Him, and He appointed His Son, Jesus, to bring many to glory. Repent and trust in Jesus’ life and death in your place, and God will save you.
